We operate our Dog boarding service licensed for upto three dogs within our family home based in Tundergarth near Lockerbie.We live in a quiet area with a secure garden surrounded by open fields.We have great local access to Lockerbie being only two miles away and are very close to motorway links just off Junction 17 on the A74 for Lockerbie. We are registered with DRYFE veterinary practice in Lockerbie.I am registered with local authority Dumfries and Galloway council to provide dog boarding within our home and we have insurance specifically tailored for home dog boarding.I also have a qualification in pet first aid.

Here at Gibsons cottage our dog boarding service aims to give your dog the best stress free experience possible.I see your dog staying with us as a holiday for your pet so we have lots of interaction and love to give to your dog whilst here with us as this is what our dog boarding service is all about and we want your dog to feel this when it comes to stay.I understand being a previous owner of various dogs over my lifetime how important it is for owners and their dogs to be happy and content with the enviroment that your pet would be boarding in.Your pet would be cared for as our own and free to roam within our house and garden.We can accept any size dog and breed to use our dog boarding services.
One to one Boarding for your dog
Although we are licensed from Dumfries and Galloway council to board three dogs as a rule our dog boarding service offers boarding only one dog at any time.We feel this would be the best stress free environment for you..your dog and us looking after your loved one.It gives us a far better in house experience with your dog and would not subject your dog to any stresses from boarding with another dog he/she is not familiar with.We do not own any dogs of our own.
We can board upto three dogs that normally live together as long as they have no major issues with each others company.Â

No Kennels boarding for your loved one
The boarding service we offer is very important to us.Dumfries and galloway council has licensed us for home boarding.We do not have any kennels or outside areas for the boarding of your pet.Your pets will spend the entire stay around us and in our home and we love that and we are sure your loved one will too.

We have specific Pet business insurance with includes public liability and injury to animals cover and our cover document can be seen on request.I also have pet first aid qualification.
